Story
The first time we saw each other was a virtual interaction on a dating app during the 2020 pandemic. We were both hesitant on dating apps, but how else would you meet a potential partner during that time?
On our first date, we went out for pho; I remember glancing over at him and thinking, Oh, wow, he’s cute. Followed by my second thought, pho was not a great choice; what was I thinking? I was nervous, and Tim had all the confidence in the world. Our date went so well that we went out for coffee, talked, and laughed for hours. We had an instant connection that felt natural, and we have been laughing together ever since.

Getting In
We recommend flying into William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) rather than George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Hobby is closer to the venue and their tickets are generally cheaper than Bush.
The Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria, West Loop South, Houston, TX, USA
We are pleased to announce our room block with The Royal Sonesta Hotel, located in the heart of the Houston Galleria and within walking distance of shops, dining, and the Galleria Mall where our guests can enjoy the night life before or after the wedding if they desire. There are also restaurants within the hotel itself, however, we encourage our guests to explore downtown Houston during their stay.
A limited number of rooms locked in at pre-seasonal savings have been reserved for our wedding event. Please see the methods below to book your room(s):
1. 24 Hour Central Reservations Department
1-855-463-3091
Group Code: 110724TMWRB
2. Unique link for online reservations
book.passkey.com/e/50805871
If you book through a third party, please inform either the Bride or Groom so your party's name is collected under our room block.
The cut-off date for wedding guests to make reservations is October 10, 2024. Any reservations made after this date will be at seasonal pricing.
The Royal Sonesta is roughly 20 minutes to the airport and 17 minutes away from our wedding venue. (Please note that the hotel is too far to offer it's free shuttle service; however, the hotel highly recommends Super Shuttle from the airport to the hotel for the best price.)
We strongly encourage those who want to enjoy the open bar during the wedding to arrange transportation through Uber or Lyft.

What will the weather be like?
Welcome to Houston, all of you out-of-towners! The weather here can be funny. In the Fall, the weather can swing either warm or cold. Based on last year's weather in Houston, it should be beautiful, averaging from 77°F to 69°F, rarely falling below 56°F or exceeding 85°. Please keep in mind that Houston has a humid climate.
What should I wear?
Formal attire.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors in one location.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Although we understand the excitement of wanting to capture such a beautiful moment, we kindly ask all our guests to let professional photographers do what they do best. We want our guests to be fully present in the moment.
Whom should I call with questions?
Please text the Bride at (228) 273-5749.

We have a room block at the Royal Sonesta Hotel. Please refer to the information under Travel.

Unfortunately, no, as the venue is too far. Ride sharing is recommended. Also, if you plan on letting loose and enjoying our open bar, we kindly ask you to arrange travel via Uber or Lyft. We want our guests to enjoy themselves but arrive back home safely.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking behind the venue.
Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?
